What's Line Dance?
Line Dance is a special kind of dancing, which originated in the USA and is mostly danced to country and western music.
For a Line Dance, the dancers stand in rows and lines next to and behind each others and each step of a predefined step sequence will be done simultaneously.
There is a big number of fix defined dances and new ones are added continuously. Each dance has its own name, which includes the fix defined step sequence. In general, a Line Dance has around 40 steps. As soon as the the step sequence is finished, the dance will start anew.
Normally you will know the step sequence of a dance immediately after having learned it.

How do you know you have the Line Dance fever?
There is the urge to dance together with like-minded, happy and good-humored people to country and western music. You can feel that your limbs are constantly twitching and jerking, especially the feet and legs. Afflicted persons meeet in groups. Sometimes you can also find them on their own.

Who can get the Line Dance fever?
Each person who gets in contact with Line Dance. Pairs, singles, women, men, kids, young and old ones can be infected by the Line Dance fever.

Is there any kind of help?
Almost no help is available. You can hope to get some relief by going to as many Line Dance parties as possible and by indulging yourself completely to the dance pleasure.

Where is the highest risk of infection?
For all who are not infected yet, the highest risk to get infected is at Line Dance parcies and Line Dance beginner classes.
